This month, there are more than 55 classes and events.
- Please note, every Wednesday, New York Hospital Queens hosts a Stress Management Support Group for Heart Patients, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Cardiac Health Center (174-03 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, N.Y., 11365). Registration is required. Interested individuals can sign up by calling 212-831-3131.
- The Cardiac Health Center at New York Hospital Queens wants to help members of the community live a healthier lifestyle. Individuals who want to look and feel better should consider joining the next session of the Weight Management Program. Participants will learn how to eat healthier, receive workout guidance from exercise experts and be supported by a team of professionals including a doctor, dieticians, nurses and exercise physiologists.
Orientation is mandatory and will be held Monday, September 9, at 6 p.m., at the Cardiac Health Center (174-03 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, N.Y., 11365). The program starts Monday, October 7. The cost is $397.27 and pre-payment is required. To register, call 718-670-1695.
