The last performance of “Oedipus”, a one woman show presented by Guacamolink Performing Arts, a Hispanic theater company. Oedipus is an original work written and directed by Peruvian playwright Walter Ventosilla, inspired by Sophocles’ Greek tragedy “Oedipus Rex”. Oedipus is the first of its kind as dominican actress Emely Grisanty,embodies eight characters in this 75-minute tour de force. Grisanty has been recognized with the 2014 HOLA Awards for Excellence in Theater for an Outstanding Solo Performance.
