Resorts World Casino NYC Employees Support Fight Against Breast Cancer

Resorts World Casino New York City will host a number of events this October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a cause the organization has proudly backed since opening its doors in 2011. A team of Resorts World employees, along with their families, friends and neighbors, will participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 19, 2014 at 10:00AM in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. Millions of people in over 300 communities across the State and the U.S. will walk three miles in honor of those battling and living with breast cancer.

Additionally, Resorts World and American Italian Cancer Foundation, a New York-based non-profit, will be providing no-cost mammograms and clinical breast exams to medically under-served women at the casino on October 22, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Foundation’s Mobile Care Clinic services thousands of women each year, many of whom have no insurance and could not otherwise afford such care.
