| Free Drop-in Family Workshops 1:30-4:30pm We invite children aged 5-12 and their adult companions to spend Sunday afternoons at the Queens Museum and enjoy art-making, dance, music, and storytelling! Next week’s Let’s Play-Dough workshop (September 16) will celebrate National Play-Dough Day where participants will create fun sculptures out of their own home-made play-dough. | Museum Closed: US Open As many of you may know, the Queens Museum is located only a few hundred feet from the US Open. Due to the heightened security for the tennis tournament, access to the Museum is affected. As such, we will be closed from Wednesday, August 29 until the September 9 conclusion of the tournament.We apologize for the inconvenience and will use this downtime to install an exciting exhibition season.
