Santa Claus got a helping hand in Corona Plaza on a recent Sunday, when the Queens Economic Development Corporation and the local Walgreens gave out roughly 150 toys to needy girls and boys at the Aliento De Vida Church. The youngsters enjoyed a special holiday lunch at the 103-24 Roosevelt Ave. religious institute before receiving gifts from QEDC Director of Neighborhood Services Ricardi Calixte (second row, far right) and Walgreens General Manager Edgar Gutiérrez (second row, far left).
