19° HAVANA FILM FESTIVAL NEW YORK – HFFNY- ANUNCIA LAS 13 PELÍCULAS QUE COMPETIRÁN POR EL HAVANA STAR PRIZE, 6-17 DE ABRIL DE 2018
El 19° Havana Film Festival NY anuncia la selección de trece películas que competirán por el Havana Star Prize por Mejor Película, Mejor Director, Mejor Guión y Mejor Documental. Los premios serán entregados durante la Ceremonia de Clausura, el martes 17 de abril a las 6:30pm en el Directors Guild Theatre.
Los ganadores serán elegidos por destacados miembros de la industria del cine y el mundo del arte. Las 13 películas seleccionadas provienen de Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, España, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos y Venezuela. Muchos de los directores viajarán a Nueva York para presentar sus trabajos.

Winner of the Premio Coral del Público at the 39th International Film Festival in Havana, this clever, crowd-pleasing delight tells the true story of a Russian cosmonaut trapped in space during the fall of the USSR, and his unlikely friendship with the Cuban philosophy professor who sets out to save him, featuring the award-winning Ron Perlman and two of Cuba’s hottest actors, Tomás Cao and Hector Noas.
