This Historical Petition Was Initiated By Imam Qazi Qayyoom Of Muhammadi Community Center, Jackson Heights.
Muhammadi Center Is The First Muslim Religious Organization Was Established After 9/11 To Promote Anti-terrorism Activities, Interfaith, Harmony And Peace Among Faiths And Eliminate Radicalism and Extremism From The Muslim Society Living In The US Through Cultural Programs And Celebrations. Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Celebration Is One Of Them.
Muhammadi Center Believes In Moderate Sufiway of Islam. The Original Sufism Was Established By A Group of Companion In The Life-Time Of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) At His Center,
Masjid An-Nawawee. They Used To Stick With The Prophet For Acquiring Knowledge and Purifying Their Hearts With Due Love And Respect. They Have Sacrificed Everything For The Prophet, They
Believed In Prophet First Then With Saying Of Prophet They Have Believed In God.
Prophet Muhammad Celebrated His Own Birthday With Them By Slaughtering A Goat And Arranged A Dinner For Them With The Meat of That Goat. Prophet Muhammad Taught Them To Be A Non-Violent,
Non-Radical, Non-Extremist and Non-Terrorist Peaceful Muslim. Today’s Sufis Are Alike.
But Unfortunately, When The The Khawarij>Wahabi>Salafis And Their Allies With Many Touchy Islamic Names Have Replaced The Sufism With Their So Called Revolutionary Islam, By Using Islam and Quran With Their Own Ideology And Belief, As A Result, This Great Religion Of Peaceful Islam And It’s Peace Loving Prophet Muhammad Became Under Attack By Some Of Our Non-Muslim Interfaith Colleagues For Misunderstanding. It Is To Cleared That, Today’s Islam And Its Various Activities By These Above Mentioned Groups Are Not The True Muhammadi Peaceful Islam Which Was Established By Prophet Muhammad In His Lifetime.
Now The Total Islam Is Hijacked By Theses Groups. Islam Needs To Be
Saved From Their Possessions And To Be Restored With Its Original Sufi Belief, Which Is Very Important And Urgent For Establishing Peace In This Human World. They Are Very Organized, They Have Banks, They Have Chain Businesses, They Have Tremendous Fundings From Arab Oil Money, They Are Growing In America and Europe Using Facilities of Corporate Systems and Freedom Of Religion And Speech. They Want To Impose Their So Called Sharia Laws In The Western Countries, Which We Do Not Want As Their Way Of Islam Is Violen And Contradicted To The Sufiway Of Real Islam.
They Want Holiday At Small Eids, We Want Holiday At Grand Eid, Which Is Eid E Miladunnabi SA, They Want Muslim Day, We Want Milad Day. They Do Not Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday, But We Do.
They Do Not Celebrate Urs-E-Awliya (Death Anniversary Celebration Of Great Muslim Saints ), We Do. They Do Not Celebrate Lailatul Baraat (A Special Pre Ramadaan Night Celebration 15 Days
Ahead Of Ramadaan Tor Get Special Forgiveness From God) , But We Do.
Therefore,
We, The Sufi Muslims Want A National Holiday On The 26th Of April, The Gregorian Date Of The Birth Of Prophet Muhammad PBUH As Of In 570 AD. Which Is For Celebration Only Not For Imposing
Any So Called Sharia Laws Proposing By These Groups Which Is As We Believe, For Contradiction And Sedation Not For Peace.
According To The Sufi Thought, The Prophetic Birthday Celebration Is A Very Important Part Of Sufi Way Of Islam, Which Will Promote Peace And Harmony Among Faiths And Will Be Helpful To
Eliminate All Kinds Of Extremism From The Religions.
This Celebration Will Be Celebrated Together With Our Interfaith Colleagues And Officials Every Year As Muhammadi Center Begins Since 2011 With The Name of “Interfaith, Harmony And Peace Event”.
This Time It Was 2nd Annual Event. At The End Of The Celebration,
We Will Display Message Of Peace and Harmony To Be Followed Which Will Eliminate Misunderstandings. I Do Not Mind And Blame Those, Who Commented Badly About The Petition. It Was Their Though Of Radical Islam Which Gives The Bad Shape Of Islam. But We The Moderate Sufis Are Not Alike Them, So Please Do Not Weight Everyone With The Same Measure.
Once Again, Thanks To Those Who Have Signed The Petition Showing Their Gratitude To The Prophet Of Islam And The Same Time I Pray For The Guidance To Those Who Oppose It, Either Muslims or Non-Muslims. May God Bless Us, Our Families And our Country Of The United States of America.
