These support groups, blood drives and classes are available for the community, patients as well as our employees and medical staff. This month, there are more than 60 classes and events. New York Hospital Queens and Deepdale Gardens Community Council will host the 23rd annual community blood drive on Sunday, August 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Samuel Field Young Men & Young Women Hebrew Association (58-20 Little Neck Parkway, Little Neck, N.Y.). To register to donate, please call 718-428-5050. All blood collected by the NYHQ Blood Donor Center remains in our borough to help Queens residents.
