QueensLatino.com Celebrates Its Second Birthday

This June 11, QueensLatino.com celebrated its second anniversary. We have reached over 400,000 unique visitors on our website. We use the best technology and we were born on the Internet. We also have a monthly print publication that we distribute free of charge in Latino neighborhoods of Queens.

Both, the digital and print editions are proving that QueensLatino.com has the business model for local news in the US Spanish-speaking market. This recognition will arrive. We are local and very innovative. We are an authentic Latino publication. QueensLatino.com is very connected to the community of Queens and beyond.

We are also holding the First QueensLatino Awards at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens, this coming Thursday, June 28th. This is the first time this museum will hold a Latino event. We are making history. That night six Latino leaders will be honored in categories such as Immigration, Education, Entertainment, Politics and Activism.

We like to say GRACIAS to all our visitors and clients who have supported us in the past 24 months. We are going to continue growing because the community needs an alternative and strong voice. QueensLatino.com knows how to cover local issues and understand the history of New York City and the Latino community. Take a look at our website and see for yourselves. The future of news is local and we are the experts in local issues.

QueensLatino.com is for you. Let’s celebrate together with love and hugs of friendship and collaboration.

Sinceramente,

Javier Castaño

Director / QueensLatino.com
