Long Island City Business Women’s Event

On November 28th, Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer addressed over 40 women business leaders at the November LIC Business Women’s event at Big City Graphics in Long Island City. The Council Member, a strong supporter of local businesses, spoke about the important role of small businesses in the district and how women have been a driving force in the expansion and growing prosperity of Long Island City.

The Council Member also introduced Speaker Christine Quinn who was on hand at the event to answer questions about the City’s small business initiatives. The event took place at Big City Graph-X & Printing in Long Island City. The business is co-owned by Raquel Salas.

“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. This organization has created a network for women in business and helped provide support and services they need,” Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer said. “My office will continue to support this organization and business owners in my district.”
