A fundraiser event for John Liu, former NYC Controller will be held at Mamajuana Cafe this Thursday, August 14th at 8 PM. Beverages and appetizers are free. Local politicians will attend this event organized by attorney John Messer.
John Liu has been endorsed by the Steamfitters Local 638, Mason Tenders, UAW Region 9A, Metallic Lathers Local 46, IATSE Local 1, IBEW Local 3, UFCW Local 1500, the New York City Coalition of Operating Engineers, the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators, stationary engineers Locals 30 and 94, school custodians Local 891, NYC building inspectors Local 211, and New York Hotel and Motel Trades Council.
